Erith Park

Here we are fast approaching the second half of 2015, it seems like no time at all since we returned from the Christmas break.

Things have certainly picked up in the last few months with orders coming in thick and fast.

The first phase of Erith Park, 203 new apartments has now been completed and we are well on the way to completing our works to 159 new build flats in the twenty storey tower, Waylands House in Stockwell.

Both of these projects are for our long term client, Wates Living Space, whom we have now been working alongside, without a break since 2006 and we thank them for their continued support and belief in our Company.

We also hope to continue our working relationship by securing the second phase, 250 dwellings at Erith Park and the fit out contract to a new 35 storey tower containing 234 apartments at Greenwich Peninsula, watch this space, our fingers are crossed.

With only a few months to go before the completion of 170 new properties at Upton Village, on the site of the old Plaistow hospital, this is our first project for Galliford Try Partnerships.

It hasn’t taken long to establish an extremely good working relationship with them and they have already rewarded our hard work and commitment to the project by awarding us two new projects.

Protheroe House and Pretoria House are new build care homes with a combined value of just under £2million pounds and we are pleased to be working with Galliford’s again.  Our contract is expected to commence in August and we are looking forward to working together on projects commencing in 2016.

Started in January, Walthamstow Stadium is our first project for our new client Quadrant Construction.  Comprising of 294 new homes, the site is on what was the Walthamstow greyhound stadium and the new homes are built around the footprint of the old track.

Because of its grade two listing many of the old familiar parts of the stadium have had to be preserved like the red horseshoe shaped sign on the front of the building and the large tote board inside the stadium.  With only a 52 week contract in place we have our work cut out to complete this £3million pound plus job on time.

NorthwayA drab 1960’s office building is set to be transformed into a modern residential block by our client and main contractor, Durkan Ltd.  Along with an attached new build block, Northway House will provide 150 mixed tenure new apartments along with underground carparks and communal facilities.  We are due to start our works in July this year, with a contract value of over £3 million and a contract duration of just 72 weeks we have busy times ahead.

We certainly have our work cut out with all these exciting projects on the go and it is my intention to update the blog on a regular basis and report on the progress of the projects in hand and hopefully on new secured projects.
